Rolee Polee
Graveyard - Scroll Down
If you are interested in the
anatomy of electronic gadgets, then this is the place for you.
Welcome to the
Rolee Polee Graveyard. This is the
place where will take apart and dissect old and new Rolee Polee
handheld trackballs.

Let's crack open a Rolee Polee and take a look at what's inside.
This happens to be a brand new Rolee Polee straight out of the box.

Here's a zoom shot of the previous photo. Here you can see a
capacitor peeking out from the mouth of the Rolee Polee.

Here you can see a couple of micro switches and a resister and a
capacitor and other electronic components.

This is how a mechanical trackball works. This is what lies
underneath the green Rolee Polee trackball.

Here's a nice close up photo of the Rolee Polee trackball rollers.

Here's an even closer close up of the trackball roller assembly. As
you can see this trackball needs to be cleaned.

Here's a shot of the trackball roller from a different angle.
